So are we looking at a 7th D on the 4th line tonight. Shame they sent Palushaj down. I thought he wasn't horrible on Sunday.

Marty, there are plenty of seats sold to every game. At least 5,000 of them (moderate estimate, conservative at best), regardless of season tickets being sold out.

people are still buying tickets every day.

- EricEngels

Hence why there are more and more empty seats at games.

WTF. Complimenting the Blogger is now a bannable offense???

Sorry Eric. I'm on your side.

No. Labeling and entire fanbase as "idiots" is.

Out of curiosity, how many of those tickets are sold more to see the other teams than the Habs right now?

The night they played against the Red Wings, it was amazing how many Wings jerseys there were at the Bell Center.

never said they'd be the difference. i never said anything about booing either, except in reference to Plek scoring a goal.

Showing up to mock a player by mock-cheering every time he touches the puck is a waste of money. but hey, I understand they feel their money's been wasted anyways going to watch this team play.

- EricEngels

I think they are doing what they can to tell management that it's getting ridiculous. What other options do they have? Online petition? Anti Gomez rally in front of the Bell Center?

I have no pity at all for the guy. None. With his inbred smirk laughing all the way to the bank, and the "it is what it is". I don't think it's normal that your highest paid player has not scored in a year. Especially one that you got by trading a first round draft pick that happens to be playing 20+ minutes for his team right now.

Probably not but I'm guessing more than in past years. Take Asps kid as an example, He's a Detroit fan. The last player to really entice young kids to cheer for Montreal was Patrick Roy. Thats kind of sad.

I'm not surprised. I would have loved to see that game even before they put on a show. As much expecting Detroit to hammer them than anything else.
