Seriously??

I don't post often but give me a break with the goalie is laughable garbage. You're a knowledgeable poster and you make good points more times than not but the shootout has been a problem for years now, no matter who the goalies are. My concern is why it's so difficult for our guys to score every single time a shootout comes about.

Bottom line is, our forwards come up small, time and time again, in the shootout. We're supposedly the 2nd best scoring team in the league. Don't you think it should reflect in the shootout more times than not?

Nabakov was great, still doesn't take away from the fact coming off two division losses, they failed to beat the team who currently sits in 12th in the Eastern Conf at home.
- PLindbergh31

They did fail to beat them. But neither Bryzgalov nor the team was non competitive. Stating that is just an over dramatization.

They need to realize the net is four feet high and that they are not restricted to four inches at the bottom.

What would you call allowing 8 goals on 10 shootout attempts? Competitive?

Giroux had at least 5 glorious scoring chances tonight... he's gotta get one soon.

Hartnell has been a passenger the last 3 games. Jagr was a stud tonight.

I wonder how many of our forwards scored in those attempts!

The goaltender who faced 43 shots won, the goaltender who faced 17 shots lost. Am I missing something?

Why aren't they scoring? The opposing goaltenders must be making saves correct?

In my opinion Jagr overhandled the puck. He needs to simplify and get the puck to the net.

So let me see if I understand this logic. It was Bryzgalov's fault that they lost the game tonight? The guy who gave up 0 goals when they were actually playing Hockey?

hahaha maybe that was the last straw for lava in the shootout with Bryz. He was leaning over the bench screaming something at Bryz. "Stop the F#$#$% puck" I think. Bryz was solid. But for shootouts they may want to yank him. Hes just not even close.

In the beginning of the year it seems they were setting up Jagr to shoot. Especially on the PP. Not seeing that much anymore.

Bryz is a statute in shootouts and lavi doesnt have the players practice it. Thats why we are garbage at them.

I love how people are defending a loss at home against the # 12 seed in the East, which now makes 28 in the last 45 home games, coming off two division losses. Very amusing.

Is Bryzgalov the only player on the team who has been poor at shootouts? So here we are again, singling one player out for a team fault.

Easy ones. Our forwards are telegraphing their moves into a phone booth.
