Philadelphia has loaned Harry Zolnierczyk to AHL affiliate in Adirondack.
He served as a healthy scratch in Tuesday's shootout loss to the New York Islanders. Zolnierczyk has three goals and two assists in 36 games with the Flyers during his rookie season.

So if in the new CBA there is a clause that lets a team get out of one contract. Who will the flyers pick? At this very moment I would say its a clear cut 3 candidates. Pronger, Briere, or Bryz. Not sure if the Flyers organization can stomach paying out Pronger's contract for no production whatsoever. However Briere's is really cap binding, and the Flyers are deep at center. Bryz I would think gets a pass this year from the organization. |

Good Move. Tom Sestito could be a keeper. I'm really liking his game.TO

Honestly I would do Briere. Then after next season you find yourself with 17.2 million in cap space, with Prongers float of almost 5. 22 million in cap space in 1 season would be amazing. Then you have to replace Hartnell, Another scoring winger for Briere and Timonen... But still 22 million... |

Does anyone here consider Tom Sestito as another Power Forward? He fights but he doesn't strike me as an enforcer for a big guy or that tough for a big guy. He can hold his own and he is capable of playing the game. He doesn't at all strike me as a grinder.
Thoughts?
Hartnell, Simmonds, JvR, Sestito. |

For me its clear cut Briere. But I dont know if the flyers can stomach the Pronger situation |

Sestito has to show me a lot more before I call him a Power Forward, but I do like his play so far. He hits hard, and he can skate. That's 2 plus' over Shelly. Of course I dont consider the above power forwards any more then I consider Matt Read a sniper.... |

How can you get out of a contract that's already been signed before the new CBA?

6.5 million with a NMC for 3 years as the 3rd line center, or second line wing.... Or 5 million of LTIR for 5 years.
To me its a no brainer as well... You can have 5 million in cap space or 11.5 million. |

They are talking about the teams being able to buy out one bad existing contract. |

Are you trying to say his poor play this year by saying his contract is 9 years and its justifiable for Bryz to have one (or many, can't predict the future) bad seasons with one of the deepest teams in the league in front of him. Never said he was a bust too btw |

Yes, but wouldn't that be against the contract? I mean you can't sign a contract, and in 4 years a new rule comes out saying that contract means poop? I know they still get the money from the contract, but it doesn't seem legal. |
