I dont understand. The Flyers offense is in the top 5 in scoring how can their cycle/perimeter game make goalies look even better? We're acting as if the Flyers have been terrible at putting the puck in the net. - stveshdy
Lately they have been against good teams. They rack the goals up on teams like Minnesota and Winnipeg... |

Flyers cost the Flyers a point last night. This cycle/perimeter game makes good goalies look even better. - RooNosHockey
Nabby played a very strong game last night. I know we're all frustrated, but at least give credit where credit is due.

Is anyone else sick and tired of the Flyers play on the offensive end?? They are soooo freaging predictable, they get the puck deep then automatically try to get the puck back to the Dman! Teams are just allowing them to do this, and are hovering around the middle on purpose. That is why there are so many blocked shots against them! Someone needs to attack the damn net and make something happen or at least draw a penalty. When Jagr is on the ice, they ALWAYS look to get him the puck (I understand he is a playmaker) but they are telegraphing all of their passes! Lavy really needs to adjust this system. |

100% agree. Nabokov stole the game for the NYI last night. The Flyers were the better team yesterday and deserved a better outcome. Sometimes you have to credit the other goalie for making big saves and winning the game for his team. |

And if the Flyers would have won 5-0 last night, would you still say the same thing today?

Yes, apparently a shut out isn't enough. Bryz needs to do more |

I feel for the shootout the flyers should use a set 3, so when the time comes there's no surprises. Timo Danny Claude from now on. They are the most skilled and most experienced. |

Would be nice if he could score a couple gino's...like to see him be an all around player ...then that $51 mill is most definitely money well spent |

I don't. The Flyers had great scoring chances last night, and dominated the offensive zone on numerous occasions. If the system was broke or screwed up that wouldn't happen. Just because they didn't score last night doesn't mean a new system needs to be put into place. If anything, the Flyers need to shoot more, IMO. They are really biting on some opportunities, trying to do too much.

They didn't win 5-0, they didnt put a single puck in the net despite controling the puck. Nabakov played great, but I still see the same issues last night, that I see when they Flyers play the Rangers, Boston, and just about every other good defensive team. The only thing keeping the Flyers in this is their scoring depth, but if teams start taking that away, you can see the trouble. |

Jagr's hissy fit at practice yesterday was because, just as he was coming around to getting into potential shootouts, Laviolette told him, "Sorry, buddy. We tried that."
Now he's boycotting. Sweet.

I don't know what is more ironic:
1. Bryz stopping seven SO attempts.
or
2. Simmonds scoring.

The Flyers are top 5 in scoring. They don't have scoring trouble.
What kills them is defensive turnovers and the inability to clear the front of the net.

He's probably faking a groin injury to avoid being traded to the leafs |
