I feel like it may be a combination of the horrible sports editor/management at the paper wanting tabloid-esque coverage and the herd mentality of the other writers putting pressure on him not to show them up by actually being a reporter.

Honestly, I am not sure who is the worse. Calling Couturier a dman ranks up there with me. i mean, i can see if the Flyers first pick is in 2nd or third round and they aren't informed but when you know the team you are paid to cover is drafting 8th overall, MAYBE, just MAYBE you should know the top 15 prospects. just a thought
