I feel that a prime example of language use would be in the series 24/7, how can one justify the language that the players use on the ice compared to what is being said in the stands. this isn't a bunch fluffy snowbunnies skating around. this is a brutal and lethal sport which deserves to be approached and perceived in that very manner by the fans

We can't hear what they are saying on the ice. And there are plenty of people who watched the sanitized version of 24/7 with their kids. I'm just as happy not having people going all sexually and scatalogically explicit in the stands. It really is one step from that kind of language to fist fights. I've seen the escalation.

Well it would appear you have less respect for the game of Hockey then you do for your fellow fans in the crowd.

There doesn't have to be explicit language to be loud and get behind the team. I myself am conscious about what I say at games, there are kids around and a person should respect that.
