it's not the quantity of calls that hurt the flyers, it's the ones that are so undeserved that's it's deflating that end up in our net. the team needs to be more mentally tough and kill those penalties off. but the top level league in the world needs better officiating than what the nhl provides for the flyers. there are just so many times that the flyers are victimized by horrendous calls and at devastating times. it's hard to beat the other team AND the refs.

I hear you, but if you watch enough games you'll quickly realize it's a league wide epidemic, not just a Flyers thing. But the NHL does hate the Flyers the most though.
