Every time the Flyers play the Rangers, they are their own worst enemy. This team is capable of beating New York, but they have to minimize the crippling mistakes. If it's not an undisciplined penalty, it's a soft goal allowed. If it's not a questionable score against, it's a complete defensive breakdown. The Rangers simply aren't as self-explosive as the Flyers, and that is the difference.

the pk today has been an absolute disgrace. cave over the line, allow easy entry. 2 or 3 guys drawn to 1 player - wide open ranger on the other side - tap in, deflection, whatever. making it look easy. bob, no chance.

the worst part is 2 of the 3 pp's were as big a farce as you'll ever see. sestito and hartnell. neither were penalties.
