I disagree. This is the Lavy-Homer effect. They have signed a bunch of ill-fitting stars to big name contracts, and while we have had individual success, we have never really had a team since the debacle season. No single guy will solve the problems. Briere, JVR, SChenn, Simmonds, Voracek, Read - any 3 of these guys have never gelled as a good 2nd line. And both 1st and 2nd lines play poor D. They are getting their ass handed to them by a team with less stars but one that has bought into a way of playing.

Doesn't seem like enough accountability with the defensive coverage. How many times has G blown a coverage. How many times has G sat for that? Yeah hes a great player but hes not above the team. When Jagr talks about helping G win the points race that crap pisses me off. There really isnt any accountability. Pronger fixes alot of crap.
