jagr's been god awful useless lately - 2Real
I completely disagree. The G line is looking really good. They simply can't buy a goal right now.

I see the same stupid poop is going on after every loss.
They suck, they're horrible, time to rebuild, get Weber, whaa(frank)ingwhaaa.
Right now, the Rangers are a better team. So is Boston. Possibly Pittsburgh, if Crosby can return.
It's not about one guy or two guys stepping up, it's team wide. You have a bunch of rookies still learning how to play over the course of a full season. You have guys who are being asked to play bigger roles and more minutes then they have been asked to before.
Rather than being complimentary guys, Carle, Meszaros and Coburn are being asked to carry lesser defensemen. Perhaps they can't handle that role, at least at this point in time.
So many people felt that they were not strong contenders this year, so why are you pissing and moaning when they lose to teams that are serious contenders? Some people in here are like insecure teenaged girls, trying to decide what dress to wear to the dance. Others are just pure D morons who are here to troll and bring nothing worth reading to the conversation or are simply here to rip the team.
This is what happens with young teams, they have growing pains. The sooner you realize that the better off you will be. - Jsaquella
Spot on. I want the team to win just as much as the next guy, and it does piss me off when they lose, especially to the Rangers. But the level of idiocy in here after these losses (and even after the wins) is mind boggling. On any given night we have six to eight rookies in the lineup. Not a recipe for a championship this season in any year, and especially now without Pronger. But we do have a bright future as long as Homer doesn't start dealing picks and prospects to try to "save" the season. I'd much rather just deal with these growing pains and let all these young develop into a winner together. It won't always be pretty, but it should pay big dividends in another year or two.

1 goal in his last 15 games. That's more than bad luck I'm afraid. |

That's cool. The players usually ignore the benchwarmers. Wonder why she isn't wearing a cage (they make you wear a helmet with full cage). |

But for part of it they looked lost and discombobulated (and Jags was out a lot). The past few games they've gotten chances (and goals). I don't think it's luck, but I do think it's ending.

The rest of them on the bench have 'em on. I'm guessing she and the guy she's with know Zac somehow. |

I've done it twice. First time I took Dean Ween. Second time I took Jason Angrytown. It was really fun. |

He was out 10 days. He hadn't scored in 7 games before that. He was signed to help pick up the goal scoring we'd lose with Richards and Carter leaving. He hasn't done enough imo. |

Did Hartnell skate by close enough to let Jason get a whiff of his hair conditioner? |

I can't remember as much from that time.
The first time Sami and Lasse were right there. |

Giroux has like 4 in the past 15. Is that more than bad luck? Jagr is doing everything that makes his contract worth it. |

i just wish we could play the rangers at a time that isn't completely to their advantage. we flat out suck on saturday day games. it's becoming an epidemic. i blame the coach - flyerscup2011
They beat you on a Friday 4-2.
They beat you twice on a Saturday, 2 -0 and 5-2.
They beat you on a Sunday, 5-2.
Thay beat you on a winter classic Monday 3-2.
That is a combined 19-8 in goals and 5-0 in games.
Its the refs.
Its the coach.
Its the goalie.
Its the defense.
Its toomany rookies.
Its the day of the week.
Maybe its just the Rangers....... |

The level of whine from SOME Philly fans is insane, there were several missed calls both ways as usual yesterday. I will give you the extra call on Sestito during that scrap/whatever you call that thing was, but the Rangers took advantage of their opportunities when given them yesterday, the Flyers did not & have not in 5 straight this year (7 going back to last yr). Could be the Rangers, just maybe could be the Rangers. Put these 2 teams on the moon right now & the Rangers will win. |
