Gets let go? You mean I'm supposed to be evaluating content, too? What judgement shall I use? My opinion? Yours? MJL's? Butsy's? A consensus would work for you? We never reach one, by the way.
Everyone gets an opinion. But just saying everything sucks over and over again isn't discourse, it is, indeed trolling. - bodiva88
I like this idea, in theory, though. |

Fans also don't watch guys on other teams as closely or with such a critical eye. The grass is always greener yada yada yada. - Flyskippy
Exactly, if Matt Carle played for another team, he'd be a guy posters here would be talking about going out and getting. Instead, he's filling the scapegoat role here. |

I haven't had much chance to see the Flyers play this season... but I will say this team has solid bunch of young forwards. Schenn especially impressed me (and the kid is only going to get better). If this team keeps building around your current core forwards by adding some solid defensemen, this team will have the complete package. Young players take time to develop... so give this team a little more time before you let loose the lynch mob. Any other Wings fan will tell you the same thing. Ken Holland knows this and that is why he rarely hits the panic button and makes a bad trade.
The defense may need some tweaks from what I'm hearing, but overall you have a very good team. I wish the Wings had more team toughness like the Flyers got. Wings need some of that sandpaper to make it to the Finals. Wings need to ass some size too to complement their skill. - Vladdie_Kon1
Which is why some of us are concerned about the potential for a reactionary trade that would not really help in the short run (because they aren't winning the cup this year) and could really hurt in the long run. I'd rather keep my depth for next year and figure out what they need to take another step up in class.
However, if ownership expects a lockout/strike, perhaps they figure the move is necessary and they'll be rebooting in 2013-14. |

Really? Because for all I know it's a "Who can female dog the most?!? Big Brother Extraordinaire Show" where anyone with something positive to say is wrong and the Complainiacs have forced many of us to seek intelligent hockey talk elsewhere.
Gainsaying everything the team does is tedious and immature. |

Worth it to get HBO (ask for a free trial and then cancel after you've caught up on season 1 and see season 2). I just finished season 1 on HBOgo and it was extremely good. |

If there is a lockout alot of people will walk away from the sport. They better have something in place bc another lockout may kill the sport in America. |

Meh. I prefer, "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world," or "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Or even, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." They get me by. YMMV. |

I just got a Kindle Fire and am up to my metal-goalie mask in books to read. Fritz Leiber, Jack Vance, de Camp & Spratt, & Zelazny. |
