D prime is 26-33, roughly. Guys who really reach peak earlier than that are few and far between. And of course, going much past that means you're either really good and have avoided serious injury or you're a 6-7 character guy who isn't expected to contribute a lot. But I'd expect guys 25-26 to be signing the serious deal of their careers and to be expected to be at their best for the length of that contract.

Rinaldo got suspended? No better player to have fill in the enforcer role then Shelley. Thats not a knock on him either, he should be fine for the next couple of games.

Wellwood has always made a good showing of himself when he's been up here and i think they were looking for someone to fill in top 9 minutes w/ Voracek out. If Voracek comes back, would think they drop Wellwood down to 4th line instead of Shelley, but who knows.

people say he lined him up for the hit, well isn't that what you are trying to do seperate the player from the puck. Should he have done a figure eight first then hit him? I'm sorry but I just don't get this. I don't even think he should have gotten 2 minutes.

The hit itself looked alittle late but that is a quick decision made by the referee. Rinaldo didnt attempt to target the players head nor injury him. The Detroit defenseman got caught looking back at his pass and got blasted. 2 min penalty at the most but no suspension should of been the decision, imo.
