Carey Price is not worth 7 Million a year... trading Halak was a horrible decision.

I think Quick will be the next goalie to cash in BIG TIME.. but I bet Quick will only get around 6M or maybe 6.5 tops for 5 years

I see Price play a lot and I'm not saying he's worth 7M$, but he sure is a good goalie. I'd give him between 5.5 and 6 for 4-5 years. He's got average stats this year because he's left all alone very often, the Habs miss Hamrlik and Gill is slower than ever

To me... making the playoffs as an 8th seed and losing in the first round because you have to play NYR or BOS is not worth it when you could have a top 10 pick in the draft.. Not saying I want my team to tank it...

I was thinking more along the lines of Schenn, Voracek, and a 1st...Or you can switch out Schenn with JVR...

That's exactly why I laugh at every Habs fans around me for their 4 games winning streak. I totally see the Habs make a big push and finish 9th when they could've picked a top 5 prospect and be better next year
