Flyers better not deal Schenn! We're only starting to see a sample of what this kids going to bring in the future. Rather keep him and deal JVR if they have too.

"Leafs need a #1 centre, were not moving any assets unless we can get one!"

It doesn't change the fact that Rick Nash wouldn't be a wicked pickup not only for this year but forever. Or..the 7 year deal that he's on. You get it.

Id love to acquire that guy, he's the exact power forward we need. Plus he's a natural leader and olympic gold medallist that grew up in Brampton,Ontario.

Ive said enough.

Islanders should have Kyle Okposo on the block. Take a look that way. Think he would thrive on a different team

Seems like a good fit too. Any thoughts on what the return would need to be?

I'm confused. "Eric Staal to Toronto" is only rumoured, but "Rick Nash to Toronto", something equally without concrete basis, is not? Okay, then.

I doubt the Habs are interested in hemsky. Gauthier said it himself that he wants to get bigger and tougher. If you look at what he's done since making that statement he dealt Cammalleri for Bourque, Emelin is playing a regular shift now, White and Schultz have been recalled.

So if Montreal is a buyer then that is a mistake but for arguments sake if they do buy I have a hard time believing it is for Hemsky.

Brayden Schenn is going nowhere, Daniel Brieres contract after next season is a 3 million dollar salary with a 6.5 million dollar cap hit. He'll be gone and the Flyers will be going with Giroux Schenn Couturier down the middle (2nd fav team)

mise well toss a bunch of worthy NHL players on a sheet, cut out the tabs, and pull names from a hat. then roll a 5 sided dice and see what (E) level the trade is.

The difference is he heard about Nash from a source (H. Berger) so it's not a rumour, it's a fact. The Staal information did not come from Mr. Berger, so it is thus only a rumour.

It won't take much. My sources tell me Hitchcock hates black people and will run him out of town the first chance he gets.

Or if my sources are wrong, we'll take him for whatever he wants once he becomes UFA.

Rooting for Hemsky to Montreal and Penner to Toronto. That would be hilarious.

Did any other Leaf fans hear the beautiful tone of Paul Morison's voice announcing the "last minute to play in the second period" in Saturday Nights Leaf/Habs broadcast ? I thought I was hearing things, maybe one to many cold ones, but nope, sure enough it was Paul.
Which brings me to a rant about why in the hell didn't they bring Paul to the ACC, don't get me wrong I love Andy Frost, but that voice of Paul's is synonymous with the Leafs. (frank)ing love that guy.

"Toronto goal scored by #27 Darryl Sittler, assisted by # 7 Lanny McDonald and by # 2 Ian Turnbull, time of the goal 7:22 that's Sittler from McDonald and Turnbull time of the goal 7:22" I can hear the echo like it was yesterday.

- Crispo98

I completely agree.

I absolutely hate how in every rink, the home team goal gets announced like we are at a monster truck rally.

And in answer to your question, Paul didn't come to the ACC because he was a union guy - it was a cost-cutting measure.
