I agree. He skated once and went right back to zero. Just hope someone in the 2nd line wing range is available without costing a ton if he does not change by the deadline.

The Bruins will have to make a move if Horton does not improve by the deadline. There is no Tyler Seguin in the press box this year, Caron and Hamill have been complete garbage. I'm really not sure if the Bruins have much to offer if they refuse to trade a roster player and Hamilton is off limits.

I wouldn't limit the Bruins to pending UFA's, Chiarelli took Kelly and Peverly last year when they both had yrs left on their deals. I just don't see the Bruins going all the way without defensive depth and a replacement for Horton.

i think we have a nice crop of secondary prospects as well as hamilton. especially given the moves we'll make will be similar to the kelly and peverley moves.

Nashville gets: Derek Roy and Jordan Leopold.. maybe Gragiani too
Buffalo gets: Colin Wilson, Blake Geoffrion, and 2nd rounder

Nashville might lose both of their top 2 D-man next year and that is on top of Hamhuis the year before and Zidlicky and Zanon to Minnesota before that. Nsh will get to replenish their D-corps with a guy with 2 years left and a younger offensive project in Grags..

Buffalo will get a justifiable #2 center in Wilson right now and Geoffrion who played great for Nashville in a late season call up last year and into the playoffs.

Buffalo now would have their low 1st round pick plus 3 2nd rounders to look for a trading parting for a justified #1 center.. Stastny or Getzlaf are the most talked about...

I would take anyone who could keep call-ups off the ice and keep Pouliot on the 3rd line. The Bruins 4th line always staying intact demands an otherwise healthy scratch play 3rd line minutes and Pouliot is playing with Krejci....ugh

I was going to say that if the Islanders want to move Okposo that Hamilton would have to be part of the deal since Okposo just signed an extension. But if he is off-limits, what do the B's have to offer? I am not too familiar with their prospects
