Sabres have lost 240 games to injuries this season.... the next closest is below 200 games..

Those injuries have not been to bottom dwellers on the depth chart either.. its has been Roy, Vanek, Ennis, Gerbe, Myers, Ehrhoff, Regehr, Gaustad, and even Leino.

its not an excuse.. but it sure makes it easy to understand when Buffalo was playing with I think 11 AHL players on the ice every night for a few weeks. (NO JOKE 11 CALL UPS!)

pens won last year without malkin and crosby, and have been winning without crosby, letang and others this season

good teams find ways to win with injuries

They also had Letang on the IR for like a month, and even Malkin was out for 5 games. Look at the Flyers. Without their #1 dman and leader for practically the entire year, and they're doing fine.

injuries can't be an excuse. penguins have been without maybe the best player in the world and still continue to win.

Vanek, Pommer, Roy, Myers, Ehrhoff aren't even in the top 100 in the world if you ask me...

Exactly. I think the Flyers have had I think 8 rookies play this year? No excuses. Its Buffalos fault they dont have much depth.

Roy and Stafford both miss open nets... get it right...

Vanek is probably one of the most precise shooters in the game... take a look at him in a shootout... he doesn't even deke.. he just skates up and BOOM!.. in the net it goes..

dude.. do you want me to say it?? The Sabres are not as good as the Penguins are.. we do not have the depth the Penguins do..

If the Sabres were just a season or two removed from hoisting the cup then we could talk.. but the Pens had a good amount of pieces still there!

So when the Sabres get hurt.. it hurts them alot alot worse then it would the Penguins...
