To me I worry its exactly like Carle/Pronger.
Just because Carle plays (ed) with Pronger, doesnt mean he is a #1 d-man. That is being shown.
I worry about that with Weber and Suter.
Love the location btw. - flyer_nutter
Everyone keeps saying how close Carle and Suter are but I think Suter is a much better all around hockey player than Carle. Thats not a knock on Carle just saying Suter is a definate upgrade. |

Oh okay. I must of misunderstood what was being said. - stveshdy
If they really are on the list of teams that he'd agree to go to, the Flyers probably at least have to talk to Columbus about it, but beyond that, I doubt they'd do anything that didn't make sense for the team, which would be anything really.
But I'm sure it will turn into the Flyers being "in on Nash", when the reality may be otherwise. |

Just a quick question to throw out here.
I am starting a Paramedic course in september, a tad early for this question but the decision has to be made early.
There are a few places in the states such as Grand Forks, Florida and California where my practicum/hands on could be taken.
Would Florida and Cali be good choices or too crazy?

Thank you sir. I think Suter is the superior player to any d-man the Flyers have right now. |

That is EXACTLY a knock on Carle.
People shouldnt be afraid to mention his name negatively on here. You wont get struck down by lightning. |

Aside from Kimmo I believe that too, and that is a great way to look at it.

Too much drama. Suter is the better all around player and not even close, imo. |

I love the idea that you've mentioned -- for a few days now -- of acquiring Robyn Regehr from Buffalo. He has a NMC, but hopeful he'd waive it to come here. - bradleyc4
I have been told by people that know much better than I that Regehr has really slowed down and isn't what he was.

People can say the two players are close until they are blue in the face, it doesn't make it true. |

Like Nodl is a valuable player to this team.Yeah he would really make a huge difference about now.
Too much Nodl Syndrome going on in here sometimes. |

Right. I only removed Kimmo from the equation based on his age. I meant compared to the other 3 dmen who are in Suter's age range. |

The market determines a players worth...one would assume that Suter will make more money than Carle? Or will those numbers be close to? |

I have always loved him. A guy with true grit and snarl.
From the Sabre games I have seen this year, it seems that angry fire isnt within him as much.

I remember people jumping down my throat when I suggested Nodl was a 4th line player. Flyers thought so much of him that they gave him away for nothing.

Wait. Didnt you hear?
We should let them grow and mature, they are still rookies. Stay the course, even if it leads you to mediocrity.

Who knows. All it takes is for one maniac to overpay. Look at Wisniewski getting dramatically overpaid by Columbus. That's the thing, for teams like the Jackets to sign guys they have to overpay. |

I would assume your talking about our defenseman or is it the forwards that are not helping out? |

Living expenses in Cali will be high, probably. I hate FL, but you are a young'un and possibly immune to humidity and unafraid of giant flying roaches. |
