Its nice having depth. Good pairings if you can get the right pair out at the right time. Leafs can lose a player and fill in a role without too much of an effect. That being said it also shows that our top players arn't much better then the rest of the team.

i wouldnt say schenn has been a top player this year... he needs to learn to react quicker... he isnt fast enough to cheat forward the way he has this year

I think he's saying adding Subban and + with him would be stupid.

patch is > Nash when considering the $.. otherwise I'd take nash. but even patch and a 1st wouldn't be done from a mtl prespective

oh i agree.. aquiring nash simply wouldnt make sense at this time... if they felt they were a cup contender they would think about it.. nash is more talented.. put him with a well coached team with consistant players on his line i'd bet he could be a force... no question its a gamble tho
