Who knows. The Sens have a solid young team. They are 1 point behind the Flyers. - PLindbergh31

If they gave you a tax break for riding public transit... - jak521
Or just stopped giving tax breaks to oil producers for making billions and spent the money they got supporting public transit. |

Claim it on your federal taxes. You need a shady tax guy - Jsaquella
I thought I had one.. I have an account that handles my stuff.. I meet with him 2 times a year to make sure my poop is in order. I pay $2,000 a year to take that god damn train... I damn well better be able to get some back. |

I haven't seen that anywhere, but on the surface it seems to make a lot of sense to me. - PLindbergh31
Doesn't make sense to me. Enroth has proven this year less capable of taking the reigns than bob has. And buffalo gets even smaller up front? |

Uh, they do. All you have to do is claim it on your income taxes. - Jsaquella
Not exactly (unless they do that in NJ). Typically you have to have a plan at work that lets you pay for transpasses with pretax money directly from your paycheck. |

Yep. The old saying is, games in hand mean nothing if you don't win them. |

Now that you say that I recall someone saying something about that before. I need to look into that asap! |

Fair point about the Sabres being smaller up front, but Enroth has started 19 games this year, and has a .919 save%. That's pretty damned good playing for a team that isn't a playoff contender. |

Check to be sure your employer doesn't have a transit plan in the benefits package. It's one of the rare ones that you don't have to sign up for in the annual benefits selection but can add at any time during the year and, for example, opt out of for a month when you take vacation. We've had it for years. You just save the transpasses in case you get audited. |

Those numbers are better than I thought with enroth. I based it off of sabre forums. They don't seem crazy about him |

2.59 gaa, and a .919 save % for Enroth. Playing on a bad team, what more can the Sabres fans expect from him? Hell, I wish Bryzgalov was putting up those numbers. |

It's time to bring the Oil dredges to Alaska and Texas. I hate to say it, but it doesnt matter how "pretty" people like things... This country is too large to depend on public transportation. Our entire economy will die if gas prices go much higher... - RooNosHockey
It is time to heavily invest in the research and development that will finally break the carbon based fuel habit. If higher gas prices is what ultimately drives this to become reality, then I am OK with higher gas prices. I think there should be an additional gas tax that directs money towards the R&D I mention above. People will adapt. They can buy smaller more efficient cars or get off their asses and ride a bike. Oil is a finite resource. Countries like China and India are chomping up bigger bites of the pie that is left and you may as well get used to higher prices because, until we develop alternatives, demand will continue to rise while supplies continue to dwindle. That is just the economic reality. I'm not even going to broach the, in my opinion more important, global climate change arguments behind transitioning away from carbon based fuels. |

How about stop giving the government all our money, all our corporation's money, so they can "decide" the best way to spend OUR money.
Our governement was founded for 1 reason. To protect us from FOREIGN invasion. Not to make endless laws, not to provide for struggling citizens... Be rebelled against a system that TAXED the hell out of us, only to find ourselves at the mercy of another governement doing the same... I cant believe that HALF of my salary has to go for state and federal taxes.. HALF... And what the hell is it being spent one... well my step sister uses her medicade to get botox injections in her armpits because she sweats alot... And my neighbors daughter got 7 free abortions.... I'm sooo glad I was able to help with that.... |

Oh boy. Look over the past month and Bryzgalovs numbers have been solid.
