He mentioned Crosby once. Said it hurts the sport that he can't play. Another one of his Captain Obvious statements. - PLindbergh31
Did he include Prongs in that thought too or just Captain Italian-girl mustache? I agree with the sentiment for both players. |

Here's and actual thought. If the Flyers keep losing, and Kimmo asks for a trade, how much could they get for a top defender? |

The Bruins have a heck of defense
Not one of the top 6 they drafted, all traded or signed as UFAs
So perhaps you don't have to draft dmen, you just need to trade and sign the rights ones. - Buts16
I've made mention of this fact in the past. Targeting defenseman in the first round of the draft is foolish. Always take the highest rated player on your board, with heavy emphasis on forwards. |

Torts says block shots of you don't play.
I blocked a couple last night and I'm sore as hell today, I could imagine blocking shots 4 nights a week for 100 games a year - Buts16
It hurts like a bastard. And just imagine blocking shots from guys like Chara, Weber, and the like. I would rather step in front of a bullet. |

Highly doubt that will ever happen. Kimmo would more likely ride the season out and retire to his homeland if he was that unhappy with the outlook for the team. |

Im not against that theory. The more forwards you have that can play, the more ammo you have to deal players for defenseman. |

Jagr and Briere = Nash - Scottie Upshall
Columbus shouldn't even have a franchise if they do that. Let's say Briere does waive his NTC to go to a toilet team like Columbus. Then Jagr goes over there. So Columbus just gave up A very good player for two guys past their primes. No one in that front office would deserve another NHL job again. |

He wants to win a cup before he retires.

No he didn't. He mentioned the Flyers only once, saying he thought they would be a first round exit. |

That's been the Flyers philosophy from day one.
But not by design. |

Columbus would probably ask for JvR, Voracek, and a pick or Bob minimum. You could swap Schenn, Couturier, Read in that Voracek spot. Thats too much for Nash imo. |

A home loss to this awful Sabres team tonight, and the natives are going to start getting restless. |

I can't believe goaltenders in the 50's played without masks. Yes I realize the blades of the sticks weren't curved, and the guys weren't as big and strong.... still seems insane to me. |
