As happy as I am to finally have an upgrade on D (especially one that is big and physical), Why did we have to give up 2 draft picks for this type of player. A 3rd round this this year's draft should have been more then enough. Maybe even a 4th round pick.

I don't think Cory Schneider is in play as Eklund suggests but if he is in play, the Flyers MUST go after him. I have zero problem with the Flyers trading Bob for Schneider and if we have to sweeten the pot with our first, it's a risk I might be willing to take. Schneider in my opinion is a clear upgrade in goal.

Pretty sure Schneider wants to be a number 1 guy and is deserving of a shot. The flyers just signed bryz to a long term deal, he is clearly the number one guy. Fans need to relax and give him more than 30 or so games before a fair assessment can be made.
