Whatever. I still would take the Sabres current roster over the Leafs. The Leafs have very few pieces to win a Stanley Cup right now. They are far far away still. Sure they might get in this year (doubt it still) but I can't see them winning a cup anytime soon at all.

I make the Phaneuf deal 100 times over...I like Aulies upside and while Phaneuf has looked like a stiff of late i like his early season game and the fact he can make a game changing hit.

The Lombardi/Franson deal I make 100 times over simply because we got the better players in the deal. Lombardi might not fit within the long term plans of the leafs but Franson will for sure.
