COuld, but carter is a risk. I wouldnt mind thismove tho, but we would need to move Connolly then. - mfreedman
Bury Connolly in the minors.
He would be a good temporary replacement if 1 of our centers get injured.

Ridiculous...Rask will be the B's #1 goaltender, maybe as early as next season if Timmy trails off. He's what, 37?
Krejci is nothing to write home about.
First rounder may as well be a high 2nd rounder. - modernhipster
They will move Rask, because Rask is not their goalie of the future......... Jonathan Quick is who they want. Quick becomes a UFA in 2013, the same time Thomas contract is over
Quick is from the New England area.......... LA CAN NOT afford to sign him |

Just a question for Bruins fans.
Why would you guys want Nash?
You won the cup last year, have virtually the same team and a #2 overall centre who is just getting better. Your team is not very old, many players are in their prime.
Trade a 2nd for a vet at the deadline, and ride your team to another cup finalWhy risk trading guys like Rask or Krecji for someone that might not work as well in the system? |

He actually might be. His agent and Feaster are in negotiations now but if Olli wants to long of term he will be gone by the 27th. |

If we bring him back up and someone grabs him. That is almost 2.5M on the books next year for no one. |

I agree...but think Gardiner has played himself onto the safe list....or at least I hope and pray. He looks excellent! - Asparatrout
I left him of both lists, because I got that feeling he's dangled out in front of the other GMs... my hope, he stays.

Thats exactly why I don't think the Rangers or the Canucks should pursue him. |

I love Jokinen but i'm licking my chops at the return we could get right now...
Also, as far as Carter is concerned, he would already be here if Daryl was still the GM. |

They still beat the Canucks without him. I also bet that Seguin will cover a bit of that offence. |

Just what Bflo. needs...another smalll center/forward. I would take this in a heartbeat if we had a big scoring center. |

Exactly.. #1 overall teams should add depth pieces, not someone that could (frank) up the parts that are working. |

i only speak the truth
i could see the flames trading him unless he will sign a 2 maybe 3 year deal at a reasonable cap hit, he has been one of, maybe even best, forwards for you guys
*flyfreak will peak in with iggy for bryz |
