it'd be nice if there were some actual trades to talk about, this year seems overly boring compared to previous seasons.
Burke do something exciting you twit - otherwise me helping Ek make money is just a waste of my time. |

Kaleta has become an effective penalty killer and solid NHL hockey 3rd or 4th line player and not just a wrecking ball. - maddog

Is he untouchable, or is he extremely valuable and just possibly his value could never be higher then it is right now? - Juice
I'm of the opinion that as long as Burke is your GM, no one is really untouchable. The guy would trade his family if it meant he could win the cup. Good or bad, he doesn't get caught up in that sort of thing. Anyone is available for the right price. I can't see why Gardiner would be held in such regard. He's a good young player, sure, but he isn't Bobby Orr. |

I just received a text from EK secret but reliable source and he told me that Nash will be traded for Bret Michaels . So once the paper work is stamped the glam band Poison will have a new front man in Rick Nash. Its true I swear one day I'm gonna write a book... - newyorkers-suck
It has come to my attention that Motley Crue may get in this trade as well. |

I have to disagree...see if you can download last year's bore-a-thon deadline show. Yes, there were some significant trades beforehand but even if Nash and Carter are the only big names moved, it'll be an upgrade from last year's deadline.
I'm working from home on the 27th regardless...I'll flip back and forth between Golden Girls re-runs. I showed Blanche the love juice a few times when I was about 13....maybe I'll give her another round 20+ years later. |

Gardiner's played half a season in the NHL and he's a better all around defenceman than Karlsson. He may not put up 60pts but I bet he's a consistent 40+ for the next 10 years.
Not taking away anything from Karlsson but he's got more experience and sees much more ice time than Gardiner. |

Exactly, but if you listen to how the media (likely the Toronto media overreacting about him) are freaking out about him...it's almost as sad as how when people acted like Doughty is the next Ray Borque. |
