I love how Jeremy Roenick was saying yeaterday that "hypotehtically Kane for miller would be perfect. And that Chicago needs to give something to get something etc" and today Eklund is all over it |

Not that it will happen but Nash is the exact player I want Buffalo to have. I dont mean a goal scorer I just simply mean a very popular Canadian player to get more revenue from North of the border. We havent had a top flight Canadian in quite some time. |

cap geek
carter - 5.27mil
nash - 7.8mil
tyutin - 4.5mil
Leafs have 1.3 cap space...
for anyone thinking these three guys are going ot the same team... it woudl be an astronimical amount of players going back.
you can't just say komisarek(has a NMC) and kadri and such LOL
has to be roster players leaving the cap. - mcampbl47
your math is wrong, they could fit one of Nash or Carter without giving the same back

I wasn't saying it would benefit Buffalo now. It would benefit Chicago now because they have more balanced scoring. Why not bring the best American player to the team? They have plenty young prospects they can move for another prospect goalie or veteran. Miller's BEST days have passed. He's still a top 5 goalie IMO but why not move him when he has value?? otherwise you're going to be stuck with an aging goalie on a bad team - mckeenml
Buffalo is sorely lacking size and skill down the middle. If Miller is moved, it better go towards fixing a crucial need which is bringing in a top center. That is the only reason Miller should be moved. Another small winger would not benefit this team that much. |

Buffalo needs more than one move to get better. Move the younger smaller prospects for veteran goalie and/or bigger forwards. One move rarely meets the requirements for a better team |

Actually the Leafs have a lot more cap space than that.....but for those 3? BB might have to pull a "Finger" - JIMI-JAMES
a lot more? I can see maybe 4.7 but how.
Those three aren't getting traded to same team anyway... however
Macarthur - Carter - Nash
Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
does look kind of nice LOL

Danny B? I mean, I guess it's starting to edge on being a long time. Also, I'm not sure we have a problem bringing in Canadian revenue. Games against the Leafs and Canadiens always have a large percentage of the arena being filled by their fans. |

Complete steal for Buffalo. Enroth is pretty good himself and it doesn't seem like Miller will ever again be the same - Nick_Dangles
haha..
Enroth is not a future NHL starter.. i'm sorry he is just not...
Miller has had a whacky year this year with getting trucked.. with having Myers, Ehrhoff, Regehr, Leopold, McNabb, etc all fumbling through the line up with injuries..
Now that they have a constant team on the ice every night.. they are 5-2-1 which is better than we could say earlier this year.. Miller is Fine... |

I took projected cap from Cap geek. I did no math at all so not quite sure.
the leafs don't have 7.8 in cap space, I didn't say they would have to give the same back? I said they would have to move roster players, did not say the same?
unless I did |

I'm just saying that if we trade a greatest asset (Miller) it better be towards bringing in a player that is needed. Kane is just not a good fit right now. I'd love to see him in a Buffalo sweater eventually, but we have enough wingers, we don't have a #1 center. |
