Buffalo sucks, Sabre fans seem like they think the shi**y team they have will suddenly improve with one trade.
The Flyers had the worst team in the NHL a few years back, made many moves, probably 5 or 6 at least and we're in the conference finals the following year. ONE MOVE RARELY FIXES A THING!! |

yes, lets not give up idiot luke schenn for one of nash or carter...we have franson now who is better than schenn and will continue to get better overall..schenn is expendable and essentially useless to use right now..get the pickin while the pickin is good. - Leafs8132
You're a genius buddy....wow good reasoning....."right now" hahaha....is this JFJ? |

Chicago have Toews, Hossa and Sharp to make up for Kane's offense...and they get Miller with Keith and Seabrook playing in front of him? Miller is a goalie who can steal games on his own (which is what he is in BUF) so if I'm Chicago, I'd do that.
If BUF thinks they can win with Enroth, good. I'd love to have Ryan Leaf Killer Miller out of the North East. |

Whew!! That's it??? And we keep Gardiner and Aulie? Git er done!!! But wait until I get some spare underwear....... - JIMI-JAMES
Don't need spare underwear, turn them inside out and backwards, should be good to go. Just scrape off the caked shat stains so you don't dirty your pants. |

I'm just saying that if we trade a greatest asset (Miller) it better be towards bringing in a player that is needed. Kane is just not a good fit right now. I'd love to see him in a Buffalo sweater eventually, but we have enough wingers, we don't have a #1 center. - snowstorm077
I agree you need a #1 center. You have other pieces to move to bring in a #1 center. The attraction of playing with Pat Kane would wooo many free agent centers. Free Agency is always there. |

Yes filled with Leafs and Habs fans I want those people in Hamilton etc to be Sabres fans - hubie
Fair enough, I'd love Nash, I'm not sure we have the pieces to trade for him, without mortgaging our future though. I also very much doubt that he'd want to come here. |

haha a recent bad experience has soured me on that. Plus with all these long term contracts these days, seems like there won't be as many top free agents hitting the market. |

who the hell would sign Tyutin to that contract
4,5 mill cap hit starting next season
he took on the Carter deal which ends when the sun explodes in 1billion years
how does Howson still have a job.. |

Schenn took the pre-game skate but sat in the pressbox last night.
Carter, Nash, Tyutin "reportedly" not at practice today.
One of those 3 going to TOR? You're scratched at the end of practice, not the pre-game skate. Unless it was reported wrong yesterday (and today with CBJ) |

I don't think any of us think one change will fix this. I'm okay with the basic makeup of our defense, but most of us want a drastic change in the forward department along with the front office. |

Personally.. I bet Myers would get the biggest return haul over Myers...
Miller hasn't allowed more than 3 goals in his last 9 games.. with two shutouts against NYR and Boston..
he isn't going anywhere...
If Kane played center this trade would be a serious threat to happen.. but we don't need another undersized winger that has no body to pass it to him.. |

LOL Ville Leino was a bad one. He was only successful with Hartnell and Danny B. Bad move on Buffalo. Contracts are getting ridiculous, we'll just have to see how the new CBA plays out.
That may be true with not so many FA Centers hitting the market, but the smart ones will test the market and you only need 1 to say yes |

hey im talking realistically, 90% it doesn't happen. would be a stupid move on buffalo's part. kane is a winger we need a center and enroth is no where near ready to be our starter in my opinion. |

I only way I could see them getting Nash would be if they werent in the hunt since the pick will be top 5 but they cant draft so what would they do with it |

Nah, in Canada we didn't need hallway monitors in high school. We learned how those tricky hallways work long before that. |

Do flyer fans really have nothing better to do??
Don't you have a borderline bi-polar goaltender to over pay and then want to trade immediately? |

carter nash and tyutin on maintenance days... it is funny all at the same time but I hardly doubt this is a precursor to a trade that sees 3 of them go, or 3 different trades.
just giving the guys a break I suppose since they did play... Tuesday? but its thursday? |
