Petry can't go down anymore. Those others have to be on the AHL roster by the trade deadline too.

Either way with the draft pick this year we either get a big skilled center that the entire league craves, or we finally start addressing our d with potential stud dmen... OR we win the lotto and get the aforemention 'lin' or pavel bure skilled fwd in Yakupov... either way you slice it we should be able to once again get potential that could turn out to be great... its really gonna test management this year if we do not get the 1st overall as they will have to actually work in deciding the selection....

I really am liking PRV's game lately... The guy got some of this confidence back... he is trying to hit and is getting quality scoring chances... it is not hurting him to play with Hemsky neither who also has had more good than bad games too... I really think that Eager needs to get rewarded for busting his ass out there the last few weeks... I mean scoring goals, laying beatings on players named Brown... it is obvious he was not 100% in the first 40 games this year... quite obvious...

How many years are we resigning Smyth to? If it were a 1 year I would be down with that...

Should be one year in my opinion. Give him one year deals until he retires. Given his age he can receive bonuses too. Give him a decent base salary of a couple mil and a couple mil of bonuses.

Petry has developed nicely so far. Even shows a physical side to his game. I think he's got a higher ceiling than I previously thought.
