Sounds like he has some decent tools in the toolbox. He is still quite raw and could someday be a NHLer, but I don't think it's with us. He needs a couple more years of development and I don't see room for him in the AHL next year given what we already have and then addition of guys we have in junior.

I hope they give Plante about 10 more games and let me develop in the AHL playoffs.

I'm not sure who they can send down. I know PRV, Petry, and Lander can go down. Am I missing anyone?

But Now I think about it would they send some of these to the worlds? Hall and ebs and rnh to Canadain team then we have the finns, the swedes, the slovaks etc.
I guess its a win/win either way.

he is one off nine defensemen in Oak City where his contract is. he doesn't have a contract for the Oilers but with the Barons.
