Disagree. I'd like to see some black jerseys done up in the style of the recently minted home orange get ups. Basically black and white with the crest and the retro name plate. Selectively and tastefully toss in some slightly understated orange trim and you have a sweet looking jersey. I orange is the tradition but was definitely a fan of the black jerseys. Seeing Primeau steaming down ice in that getup must have been a little unnerving for the opposition.

literally half the teams in the league had black jerseys at one time or another. the primeau-era ones were alright. the rbk ones were absolutely brutal with the stupid arm striping, etc. i like our current white ones better, but the orange is classic philadelphia flyers hockey, broseph. love it.

for real. i was kinda shocked when i saw he has 16 goals already on the year. who woulda thought he'd be flirting with 20 goals?

Richards came into the league and played with a distinct style that made the fans love him. He was mean, threw huge hits, played his heart out every shift.. And he did that up until about 2 seasons ago. He seemed to become deflated. I was the biggest Richie fan. Hell I still think he is a heck of a player, but anyone who hasnt noticed a distinct change in him as a player isnt being honest with themselves.

I think this is spot on. I think the Booth hit really affected him mentally and the recurring shoulder issues probably didn't help either. I prefer to remember him as the player in that shift in the Montreal series a few years back. In any case that is LA's problem now.
