i was pleasantly surprised with Shelley's play last night. Guy actually beat some people to the puck (even if those players had been on the ice for a 3 minute shift).

Which is why I'd still prefer one more trade if the price is right. Kubina would be nice, but that's probably doubtful given the abysmal defensive market.

He got some rest for guys during garbage time. I think Shelley played 6+ mins in the third period.

So true. We can all play armchair GM but we don't have the info on prices. And I agree that is what is most important. I don't go all in this season by trading youth or our #1 (unless a long term good asset is coming back). Everything else is on the table though.
