Bryz has been bad agreed, but Roo has to make better decisions, he is now the man, he has to make smarter decisions. - ravishingone
Too many soft behind the back passes lately for my liking. |

I don't know how Bryz can recover from this game in the eyes of his teammates - eayost
Whoever it was that fired that puck back down the ice was furious. The Flyer players clearly know he sucks and they have little to no confidence in him. |

Just brutal. |

even with the few breakdowns, goaltender is big difference from this being 3-0 flyers and i've been pretty supportive of bryz - dillpx183
Me too. Can't blame him for the last goal it was a break away. But the first 2 were terrible. For anyone saying trade Bryz or trade Briere, you sound like a child. It will not and can not be done- NMC. Wake up! They are with the team for a long time so come back to reality. Live with it. |

Ive tried to support him lately but if you consistently let in bad goals this team, has zero chance in the playoffs.
How much time is it going to take? He takes a step forward and two steps back. |

2nd warning, do not use foul language in a post if you can not make the post without do so do not post it. - ob18
Doesn't all foul language get replaced by child-speak anyway?
Regardless, what's up with the Bryz meltdown? |

This shouldn't go un-noticed. The team has played horrible in front of him. With the teams' effort, I don't mind that he would give up 3 goals; it's a sloppy game. I just wish he'd stop the soft goals, they have no place in this game. Not with a goalie of his "supposed" caliber. |

I don't see how Bryz gets blamed for this. We have a 5 on 3 PP and Matt Cooke gets behind everyone. - roenick97
Two chances to make a big save and he blows both. Soccer net. He is a head case right now. Welcome to Philly mofo. You ain't in Phoenix anymore. It is sink or swim and bryz is treading water bleeding while the sharks circle (wow that poop I just did is some buffalo blogger metaphor there...eat your heart out GARTH). |

This is the strangest hockey game I've seen in a long time. Brutal goaltending for the Flyers, brutal defensive lapses by the Pens, 3-5 shorties, and brutal officiating all around. |

I am hearing there will be a post game press conference announcing the Bryzgalov and Auger Hockey School of Goaltending and Reffing. |

agreed, giroux needs to stop with that dumb behind the backblind pass, the few breakdowns that occured were unexcusable, and cooke never would of had a chance if kimmo would have skated the whole way, but after saying that..... the saves needed to bail the the team out on all 3 breakdowns the pens scored on were not hard ones to make and need to be made |

Because that is the save he needs to make. That is back breaking. Yes, the players were bad there on the PP, but he needs to make that save to keep them in it. They are blocking shots for him and he can't make simple saves for them. |

That 3rd goal was pretty bad as well. Not nearly as bad as the 1st 2, or the goal he gave up the other night...but still something that needs to be saved.

I haven't been on here yet today so I haven't read back at all but I hope there isn't anybody defending Bryzgalov today. I don't blame him on the 3rd goal but the first two were absolutely horrible! Even though the game is evened up right now if the Flyers lose this it is on Bryzgalov. Just completely unacceptable goaltending for a so called franchise goalie. You need to at least give your team a chance to win. I don't blame the fans for booing him today. |
