He hasn't played well lately either. Here we go again, another year, another goalie carousel. At what point does it stop? - PLindbergh31
Maybe us fans just need to quit picking on them ...or the flyers find another hextall who feeds off anything that ticks him off. |

What can you do? He didnt play well today. Those are saves that have to be made and he came up empty. |

Bob has not looked good when given the chance.
He is the better option the Bryz, but he lets in his share of soft goals every game. |

He hasn't played a full 60 minute effort all year.
Biggest goalie flop since Dieptro.

For Bob? He's a non-factor. The team needs to come out and clean up their sloppy play. The no-look passes by Giroux has indirectly resulted in 2 goals. Plenty of cross-ice passes that get picked off won't work. They didn't work with Richie and they won't work with Giroux and Briere.... - steelydan
In all honesty, Giroux has done a hell of a lot more to try and make this team a winner this season. Thats why he doesnt get blame, or as much of it.
Bryzgalov at best, has been a non factor. |

On the Pens feed, they just said that every single penalty call was by Auger and none by Devorski - ikyan
Devorski called the trip on Briere, I forgot which Pen got him.
But Auger has been an absolute nightmare. |

I'm sorry, I just don't get it. Bryz and Bob both have to get it together. Money aside, I don't understand how we can suddenly blame one. - roenick97
Bryz is older and supposed to be a lot better than Bob. And Bryz has let in quite a few softies. The last softie I remember from Bob was during the Winter Classic...and that was quite painful. |

They're both probably below average. - MrBuzzcut
I'm not at all saying it wasn't a bad goal but how the heck does 5 players allow 3 to get the better of them? Bryz in my mind was replaced in that position. It's no secret he's not great on the breakaway. Timonen should have been his safety net consider Timonen was on Cooke's back. I don't understand why there was a rush going the other way to begin with. |

Has Bob been spectacular this year? no, but there is NO WAY someone can honestly say Bob has given up such soft Mason goals that Bryz has this year. EVERY goalie gives up bad goals, but this is ridiculous. I'd be more comfortable with Osgood coming out of retirement and playing in goal. |

Even Clement is ripping Breeze. - 77rams
"The worst 3 goals given up by a Flyers goalie in years."
Yesterday I read Bill's column about respecting the Flyers "win now" mentality. Ok, thats a flattering way to look at it, but another version of that is that they like to gamble. In this particular case, I really cannot blame them. Bryz is a vet goalie who has stellar career %, including in playoffs overall. This was difficult to predict, but gamblers often lose. And if that is the institutional philosophy, we just have to live with it. |

there was a rush because Giroux threw a bouncing timb bomb pass to Kimmo at the line that Kimmo let get by him |
