Im really starting to worry about Bryzgalov.

The first and the third goal were bad but I can chalk them up to good shots, poor situations. A 2 on 1, and a shorthanded breakaway.

The second goal was just unbelievable. A high school kid could have caught that puck. Sure Giroux made a stupid pass, but there was no screen, no deflection, it wasn't an actual hard shot, and Bryz just missed it...bad.

What are they going to do?

Bryz doesn't have mental issues? It is all about taking the lesser of two evils in my mind. Mason 1 yr left 2.9M and younger. Obvious choice IMHO. If I could get rid of Bryz, I hate to say it but I would do it in a heart beat. I have been a supporter all year but it is what it is. A noose around the Flyers necks for 8 yrs.

Edit: Could be a noose. Right now it looks that way. Maybe not next year but this year I am ready to throw in the towl.

Slim chance this team tries to upgrade goaltending. They will say that Bryz is their goalie; what else can you say when you sign him to a long-term, super-star contract?

This team will live or die by Bryz in the playoffs.

IoI will say that Grossman was nice to see. Played a nice mean game and cleared the porch. Liked the Grossman pick up.

I still don't doubt yet that Bryz could have good seasons here, but I have lost confidence that it'll start this year. He can at least get better over the course of the rest of the season, but it'd be a miracle if he got back to his "elite" status. It may take an offseason to mentally recover from this year.

He'll be fine. Don't worry.

Even worse, Bryz has a NMC and any trade scenario is moot. It's the same as people trying to trade Briere every single year...

Belfour was a real f-ing nutcase. He won a cup. I'll take Mason next year then say good buy. Probably could trade him next year at the TDL
