I heard he used to be able to score goals, maybe a change of scenery would help. - Manitobakid
could get him for less then what they traded |

SO... JVR, Simmonds, and Bob for Nash and Mason? Not sure if that would fit the cap |

There are two scouts from Chicago in the house, so I guess Kane's on his way to Philly too.

A team that could use a boost should trade for Nash. A team like the Leafs, Jets and maybe Stars should take a shot at him. These types of teams are knocking at the post season door and have had trouble getting over the hump for a while now. The Flyers aren't one of these teams. We don't need him. JvR could turn out to be the next Rick Nash, so what's the problem? |

Patrick Kane? C'mon, quit being ridiculous.
Obviously it's Toews coming our way. |

There isn't a single player on the Hawks current roster that makes sense for this team. I love Ray Emery but he doesn't make sense for us anymore. I love Steve Montadore but he's hurt. I would consider O'Donnell for Lilja for leadership but that's just me. I know this could start the debate that we don't have a leadership issue but there is a major difference between the Flyers with Pronger and the Flyers without Pronger. |

Of course.
In actuality, there are scouts from more than a half dozen teams there today. I think most of them are making their appointed rounds as they do every year at deadline time, but there's no point in that fact being brought up by the media.

I dont like the cap hit either... and I said while I would like Nash, I wont like his cap hit.... But if you think about it Its only a million more then Briere... and he brings a lot more to the table. |

It is strange that Howson keeps showing up at Flyer games though, and supposedly talking to Holmgren to boot. |

They only way a trade JVR is for young stud defensemen or a established good defenseman... Rick Nash makes no sense if u have to give up 3 roster spots for him.. just stupid |

For all the Shelley hates, we're just over a week away from finding out if he's officially sticking around. If the Flyers really need to create space, you'd think the Flyers would start there. |
