It would not surprise me at all.
I really dont want to lose Coburn. He's our best dman behind Kimmo IMO.
Braydon Coburns dont grow on trees, and we acquired him for nothing. - mochoson
What if they make a move like Coburn + for Suter... |

Why would he be a filler? He is now the 6th and final d-man for us. The rooks now get moved down to the Phantoms and are call ups if needed. - Flyers2821
I didn't say it was definitely happening.
But Homer trading 4 draft picks away in a matter of 3 days for two dmen, one in the twilight of his career, doesn't make a ton of sense when this team doesn't exactly look like a contender right now. |

Not even if they are getting Coburn who can step in and be a top 4 d-man for them and they have him for the next 4 years? |

The only way they trade Coburn is if they acquire say a Suter or Weber. Which is where I think this is now headed. Nash was a smokescreen all day today. It was all way too open and out in the public for how the Flyers operate. |

Depending on if JVR goes back the other way to, its not that unrealistic.
Coburn would offset his loss and is signed to a much smaller cap hit then what he's gonna get in the summer.
Nashvilles going to spend to the cap next year as per their GM. Even if they do, I don't think they can fit him AND Weber without addressing other areas.
Highly unlikely, but its not impossible. |

There has to be a plan. If this is all the moves made besides trading a phantoms player to lose a contract I will be surprised. I have no idea what the Flyers are up to at this point. |

IDK we also need a goalie, and a top scorer like Nash? Mason in a new environment, can't be much worse than what we have |
