Yeah, so why is everybody talking about Nash? - Tomahawk
Cause Nash is a realistic option and Weber is a fantasy. |

As long as Holmgren isn't talking about Nash, that's all that matters. |

Today was just stunning.
If Bryzgalov has any honor, he won't cash his paychecks.
I wonder if Timonen is going to say anything. - GoFlyersGoSlovakia

If he gets 6 million per year, Suter will get a max contract. 6 million per for a dman with that many weaknesses is insanity. - PLindbergh31
I think Suter will eventually settle on 7M/yr. For what team, that will be interesting to see play out. |

Considering that they're currently over the cap w/ the Kubina trade, and all the big-dollar contracts on the team come w/ movement clauses, how exactly is adding Nash any more realistic? |

Cause they can trade JvR, Coburn, and Bob to get Nash. There is always a way to make the money work if your truely want that player and he is available. Nash is going to get traded, Weber is not getting traded. |

The fans just want to see the guy do what he was brought here to do, stop the damned puck.
Let's face it, in every day life folks would be fired for the type of performance Bryzgalov has turned in. |

don't really give a fuc& about andy what's his name
Bryz must find it in his soul to play for this city, or something like that, I know you are still hanging on him, but those first 3 goals had even Bill "god of hockey" Clement saying that was the worst 3 goals he's seen a goalie give up in a game in this city in a long time
we should have won 4-1 or at least 4-2, even Jim Jackson, Keith Jones & Coates were snickering today, he can't take the pressure |

Dude get off it already! In everyday life you don't play the hardest position in sports. You're frustrated I get it, guess what So am I. Do qb's ever get benched? Do cy young pitchers ever get relieved in the 2nd? And do vezina goalies get pulled? Yes to all questions. Does that mean they suck, are washed up, and underserving of a contract? |

John Buccigross tweeted like a month ago he thinks 6M/yr. I know his opinion isn't the end all be all but it is still relevant. - Gunner Staal
I pray a team in our division, or at least the Eastern Conference, is the team to give him that contract.

Yes he's like night and day. He was like that in phoenix too. He's also played well at times here more often than not too. Oh and I don't give a flying poop what Clement said. That Bobrovsky goal where it went in off his skate was almost bad as leighton in SCF's so puhlease! |

Only want Schenn or Coots in a deal if Weber is on the way back. I'm not thrilled about JVR being in a possible trade, I would move Voracek first, he's a good set up man, but not a great finisher. I think JVR will be better then Voracek by next year. |

Nash isn't going to be worth the trade the Jackets are looking for. I love Rick Nash but it sounds like they want a roster player, 2 prospects and a first according to Hockey Night in Canada. Nash still has decent age and he'll help wherever he goes but he's not scoring 40 anymore (Well, Maybe) and he was never carrying the Jackets the same way Iglina carries the Flames. |

No question he has alot of pressure. He was signed to be the man. His goaltending skills and abilitiy were suppose to solve the issues in Philly. For some reason he hasnt been able to be the Bryz from Phoenix. Hopefully he can turn the corner and get it right. I dont want to count him out when he hasnt finished a year on his contract yet. |
