What I don't understand is why Howson pushing Homer for this trade? If I'm Howson I would much prefer Bernier as a centerpiece in the deal even over some of our young forwards. Bernier sure seems like he has the ability of being a franchise goalie. Maybe there is a three way deal brewing.

Well, it looks like we won't be getting our answer tonight. Guess have to wait till tomorrow before 5.

What I don't understand is why Howson pushing Homer for this trade? If I'm Howson I would much prefer Bernier as a centerpiece in the deal even over some of our young forwards. Bernier sure seems like he has the ability of being a franchise goalie. Maybe there is a three way deal brewing.

yeah, I didn't get how Penner would be included in the deal, I know they have to make salary work, but Penner is a Canadian version of Zherdev.

I couldnt agree with you more, the only thing I can think of is Nash's list is very short maybe 2-3 teams and Kings arent one of them for whatever reason. There is a reason Jackets want to trade with Philly. I was Columbus i would still be bitter about the Carter trade.
