Kubina trade to Flyers complete, but Philly can't make another move without trading a contract. |

I couldnt agree with you more, the only thing I can think of is Nash's list is very short maybe 2-3 teams and Kings arent one of them for whatever reason. There is a reason Jackets want to trade with Philly. I was Columbus i would still be bitter about the Carter trade. - flyerfan28
Howson should have interest in Schenn and Coots if he can't get Bernier. However, I just can't see Homer giving them up unless it is a deal involving Weber. Heck, I don't want to see JVR traded, I think he will develop into a 30 goal scorer next year meaning his salary cap hit not be a detriment.

Yeah Schenn and Coots is too much, both centerpieces of Carter and Richards trade. Flyers have the upper hand here I think. Nash has the final say on this so options will be somewhat limited. Flyers will pull the trigger if its just JVR, BOB, and another prospect like Gus but thats it. I like JVR too but if I had the choice i would rather have Nash plus JVR will be making more than Giroux next season |

Briere buyout & no trade Timonen?????????????????????????????????? - puckhead17
hopefully the new CBA makes the cap go down and they can simply have a 1 time buyout of players with no impact on the new cap mechanism |

I'm pretty sure it was reported that LA was indeed on the list as well as SJ, PHI, BOS, and NYR. |

What I don't understand is why Howson pushing Homer for this trade? If I'm Howson I would much prefer Bernier as a centerpiece in the deal even over some of our young forwards. Bernier sure seems like he has the ability of being a franchise goalie. Maybe there is a three way deal brewing. - ravishingone

Even if JVR is in the deal now, I'm not even sure how Nash fits in the cap this year with additional pieces.

Bourdon was only a -1 in that mess today. He's 22. I just love how this team (and half it's fanbase) just quit on guys so quickly. News flash.
