They might. Although they have plyed better the last two games against Biron and the Jackets.
I was joking about Leighton, though.
I just don't trade Bobrovsky unless I'm getting value back. I'm not giving up on either guy yet. |

Enjoy, have a safe trip and I'll be thinking of ya, as I freeze my ass off on a slop in Pennsylvania trying not to pull a Sonny Bono |

no joe, the numbers are selective because what good are they if they involve implosions at key junctures in divisional gms? so even the better numbers are deceiving because they are unable to conceal the constant reminder that bryz is one of the 5 worst starting goalies in the league. just stop the softies and I'll shut up. I gave him full marks for the NYI gm and ignored the skills competition result...then we get the implosions... - isaiah520
Yea and one of those worst 5's name is also Miller but he gets a pass and you'd be willing to trade for him right? Right now as of today he played bad, yes. But he's been better than he's been bad and the numbers prove it.
Were they selective? Yes but I'm making the point that he's getting better since his rough start to the season and to act like any goalie can't look bad on any given day is foolish. |

yup yup. which is why i disagree with the sky is falling freakouts that sometimes occur in here. i'm waiting to see if carle gets dealt... if he doesn't we're going into the stretch with a mature decent D despite missing pronger. i'm okay with that. - Don'tForgetTocchet

any given day? it's mid Feb joe, wake up, he sucks. he can improve, but this constant berating of detractors who make a reasonable argument- which I certainly have- is ridiculous. there is not one commentator, scout, coach, etc that wouldn't describe his performance this yr as anything but disappointing at least...and likely many would say flat-out awful. I'm rooting for him, but Jesus h Christ, keep it real.. |

He's actually played better than most people give him credit for but today he was awful. Will he bounce back I think so but he has to do it not us and it doesn't hurt for us fans to just shut up and let the guy work it out. After all if his name was Vick or Iverson this wouldn't matter in this town. |

It's giving praise to God and asking him to provide assistance to those who need it. My wife's family is very religious, and I go to church, just not my bag. I don;t begrudge anyone their faith, though. We all got to do what we can to make it through and get strong.
Although, if you're giving rum to Jobu, I will tease you for it. |

No, that's why I added the Jobu bit. Skip will joke about anything, but he does take his faith seriously. That's why I try not to drop the GD's & JHC's too much.
Skip's a good guy and I'm jealous of his ability to keep his hair |
