Its prolly a mixture of things theres been alot of backdoor wide open nets that the defense has just took a poop on so i dont know if he cheating because of that... either way i just think he need to keep things simple just stop the puck... easier said then done...another thing is the soft goals which sucks because most games he was playing well and then boom.. just needs to keep it simple

I do see him cheating at times, and that's a function of a lack of confidence. When a winger is slumping they say he's pressing to hard or holding the stick too hard...That's what I see in Bryzgalov when he has a bad game. The routine shot gets past him because he's too worried about what could happen-where the rebound goes, what if he passes, what if the defenseman blows coverage, etc.-and he's not focused on the puck.

That's when the shoulders sag or he's frustrated with himself, because he's overthinking-as Bill says the noise in his head-and he's not doing the old simple, "See the puck, stop the puck" routine.

A goalie who is on his game and confident isn't thinking at all. He's focused on the puck, and his reactions are an extension of his focus.

That one surprises me. Downie seemed to have found a home in Tampa.

i agree hes not this bad no way... he isn't confident i think anyone who knows the game can see that but hopefully he gets it turned around..its tough to gauge this team right now.. if he can come back and play lights out this team can make a serious run i truely do believe that... they have the pieces and experience but the D has to be better as does Bryz.. i think Bryz knows this

I think Quincey is a decent defenseman. Thats a good trade for the Lightning if they plan to resign him.

I have already seen speculation that this injury at practice is a rouse, so he doesn't have to play tonight FWIW. I don't put much stock in it.

I think Quincey is a decent defenseman. Thats a good trade for the Lightning if they plan to resign him.

No one held a gun to their heads to sign them. You need to pay the piper if you're going to dance the dance. No one is saying they should be forced to renegotiate contracts for guys who've overperformed their deals.

yea its ridiculous at this point, sure i was pissed at BRyz saturday and wanted to trade him an hour after the game but come monday i wanted him net tonight.. I just remind myself we were 2 wins away from a cup with Leighton
