Not true. If he starts playing well, and steals some games he will get his credit. Still 20+ games and playoffs left. The season isn't a washout for Bryzgalov yet. - PLindbergh31
No offense, with the defense core Homer has assembled, he shouldn't have to "steal" games. Does he need to be better? Sure, but this defense just isn't going allow offenses to shoot 30+ shots on the goalie to often. He has the talent to be better and I'm sure he will be.
Also, much like the team, Bryz's worse games were afternoon games. I don't have any reason why that is, the team just doesn't play well as a whole in the afternoon. |

I'm not going to go there, but whatever the case, he looks lost.
And Simmonds has been a pleasant surprise. Guy has been a stud all year. - PLindbergh31

You know what is important? After allowing that 4th goal, he did not allow a 5th.
Bad goals are going to happen, the key-especially for a guy battling his confidnce-is to keep it at one bad goal, and not two or three. - Jsaquella
that's what i'm saying. he hung in there and made some big stops to give them a chance. and kudos to the boys for pulling that out. that final rush in regulation never looked like they'd get over the center red line, let along jam it in off the doorstep. i'm still shocked that happened. |

Fist pumps so hard his tie gets an erection. Amazing. - feelingkettle
That is classic, a close 2nd to the punch on top of Ville's head against Carolina, that is still the champ.

It doesn't, but you have to just keep playing. It's two points on a night where they nearly got zero. Next game, apart from Bryzgalov playing better, they had better start getting the rest of the PK in order. Among others, Couturier has hit the wall big time since the ASB. - bmeltzer
Coots and Read both have. I wouldn't mind seeing Lavy give Couturier a game or two off. |

Never going to be a big assist guy, but he's got the nose for the net. I think he can be a legit 25+ goal scorer. |

Im not going to lie its not easy watching the puck when its in our zone. For this team to play the way they did and battle to win shows me they havent given up on their teammate in net. They know its important to get his game back or they have no chance of winning. |

Barry wrote in his blog last week that he wants to burn your house down. Totally out of line. Not sure how he is still blogging after writing something like that. |

JvR was playing with fire all night. I feel happy for him. He played a very good game. The key now is to build off it, for everyone involved. Bad things happened-poor coverage, weak goal-but they won, beating a hot team that is very good in their own building.
