For Bryzgalov to get to 60 starts he will have to start 21 of the next 23 games. That isn't happening. - PLindbergh31
why not? hes not getting any younger. |

Who knows with the way Laviolette handles the goalies. There are no back to backs on this road trip, so Bryzgalov can play every game, but I suspect Bobrovsky will get worked in somewhere. Perhaps in Edmonton. - PLindbergh31
It doesn't do any good for Bryz head if he does. I hope Lavi understands that.

Fluery tied Barrasso for shutouts. 22 is the number.
What did you think of Barrasso? I think he was overrated. |

I don't think Bobrovsky deserves a start at this point. He may be viewing the situation as Bryzgalov is the lesser of two evils at the moment. |

The GWG wasn't even going to be a shot on goal. That was ridiculous. |

He was a very good goalie, but more Chris Osgood than Patrick Roy. He was a lot like Grant Fuhr, at least with Pittsburgh. He'd give up goals, but rarely allowed that backbreaker or gave up a lead after 40 minutes. |

to be fair that puck knuckled and dipped and fluttered the whole way in. i don't blame him for trying to stop it. he didn't have a good night for sure. |

He's started the last two, if he starts 21 of the next 23, that would be 23 out of 25. That's too much. You don't want to run him into the ground.
I think he will probably start 18 of the final 23 games depending on performance. |

Trade JVR now. Luke Schenn wouldn't have needed to pass that puck, he would have scored himself. Weak. - BringBack25

Yeah. That is a good way to describe him. He played on some very good offensive teams. Mario, Jagr, Stevens, Recchi. Those Pens teams could explode for 6-7 goals any night. |

Yeah, but he's got to avoid letting that go in. If the Leafs miss the playoffs by a point, that will be looked at as one of the reasons for sure. |

I have no interest in Semin, great talent, but sometimes lacks effort, UFA at the end of the year, I don't think he is looking for a pay cut. |

they didn't play a bad game at all. 2 bad goals on 2 bad pp calls and were robbed about 6 times at the other end in the 3rd. they should have won this game. - hammarby31
