If Toronto's main reason for getting a goalie is to make the playoffs getting a guy who barely plays is not the solution. Potential means nothing until they've carried the burden of an entire season. They can make a better trade at the draft or in the summer for any existing goalie or they can pay Vokoun who doesn't cost them any players and who would be a major upgrade.

They need to stop trading with Boston. If they had Rask and Seguin and Hamilton they'd be in much better shape. Then again other teams coveted Pogge as well in his draft year...there are no sure things.

Rask yes. Seguin and Hamilton? Not proven at all yet. Seguin is having a pretty good year. Kessel is having a much better year and Hamilton is still in juniors.

I think only Florida maybe, with Markstrom. Goalies are so odd..so hard to predict.

Lehner seems like a pretty good prospect, played well in the AHL playoffs last year too. I haven't followed him at all this season so maybe he took a crap.

I have no doubt he's going to be really good. He thinks the game really well, has a very underated shot, sees the ice well, good hands. However, the guy has average speed at the very best and isn't going to bowl guys over. I can see him being a very good 2C, perhaps an average 1C. I just feel in our neck of the woods he gets overrated as he doesn't have the upside some other prospects do.

Booth Hodgson Kes a try.. just for a few games. Let kesler take the main draws and fall back into the wing. Kesler is a beast on the wing.
