Alot of ppl give Gustavsson a hard time...he's a good goalie with alot of potential. But i think Wilson needs to pick one of these goalies as a number 1 cause this back and forth mickey mouse game is getting both to believe they're back-ups. I would LOVE to see Bernier in a leafs jersey so i say;

To L.A - Grabo + Gustavsson + MacArthur + 3rd round pick

To Tor - Bernier + Penner

L.A gets some scoring touch in Grabo , a great 2 way forward in Mac , and a potential number one goalie in Gustavsson. And the 3rd rounder is the cherry on the cake.

The Leafs get a solidified number 1 and some size up from. And Penner is a UFA at the end of the season.

Than i would turn around and do;

To Clb - Kadri + Schenn + Komisarek + Reimer + 1st rounder

To Tor - Nash + Huselius + Mason

Leafs get their Star winger with some size , and a good proven player in Huselius , plus a proven but streaky goalie who can back-up Bernier.
CLB get 2 NHL ready young guns , a proven starting goalie who only needs the ice time! , and a first rounder. Komiserek in this deal would basically be straight up for Huselius cause CLB would still need the cap hit with Nash and Carter leaving town remember there is a cap floor.

Someone suggested yesterday in the Isles thread that we trade Grabner, Poulin, a 1st and a 4th for Kane, Bickell and a 3rd. For some reason the part I found funniest was that after Bowman decides to seal his termination by trading Kane for that package, he then decides to really drive his unemployment home by including Bickell and a 3rd.

Could you see Toronto, L.A., and Columbus doing a threeway??

6 goals, 8 assists in 34 games. I don't think it would be hard to send an upgrade over that. Not trying to be smart, but he has had a sh*tty year and he is a pending RFA that you can't afford to resign. Then again, we wouldn't have the cap room for him either.
