Kessel tied it up but then we got Choaked out by a Monster
Please Burke, Bernier.....PLEASE! - encrypt
You really want to trade for ANOTHER "supposed to be" goalie...Bernier has proven nothing at the NHL level and the Leafs need a proven goalie...not one that Alaire is going to say "ok, your goaltending style that got you to the NHL, yeah, forget about that; you're an Alaire goalie now".
I like Berneir for his potential, but he really has proven absolutely nothing to date in the NHL. |

No team is trading theyre proven NHL goalies. Your gonna have to go out and get a back up future number one type. Bernier isnt getting alot of starts and his first few starts were really bad team games. His last five games have been good. But its gonna be hard for him to prove anything playing behind Quick. |

There's no "elite" goaltenders available, only young hopefuls or 40yr old veterans.
Can Roloson pick up his play in TO for one more playoff push before retiring?
Khabibulin?
Nabby?
Beggers can't be choosers and I'd take my chances on any of these guys, even if it means moving Gus. I like Reimer's chances of developing into a solid 'tender. At least he doesn't let them in from 60 feet. |

For sure, LA has to play Quick, now is not the time for that team to develop Bernier.
I suppose I'd prefer to see Toronto hang on to those pieces and take a run for Bishop this off season...they lose no assets and gain a goalie with close to the same potential as Bernier. |

Not a fan of the Clifford call. There was no call on the ice then the refs huddle and get to watch the freaking video over head to make a call..That bs. If there was gonna be call, call it when it happened. But Quick was allowed to have a bad game. One bad goal with a coverage fail of Kopi and Mitchelle |

I think if the leafs are trying to trade for a goalie, they should call Vancouver.
Schneider is going to be a great 1# goalie, and everyone knows it. Probably more expensive than Bernier, but it is less of a gamble. |

They're not exactly "key" pieces to the future of the franchise. Grabo walks July 1, MacArthur adds scoring depth and a reasonable cap hit. |

I dont think Bishop ever had the Potential of Bern. If he did they wouldnt of gotten elliot. Bishop is killing it in the minors right now. If a team got him and played him in 15games he would retain his RFA status. |

I wasn't either, regardless of the call we were up three and we let that slip away... its like they try to find new ways to lose every night. I just don't get it. |

Losing Grabovski would be huge against the Leafs. He makes MacA and Kuli better point producers...he's got a ton of heart and works as hard or harder then any player on the roster, I 100% do not want to see him go. |

Perhaps I'm guilty of drinking the Bishop kool-aid. Dude is definitely killing it right now though.
Elliot was originally just a 1 year signing to let Bishop play his final year of full development....clearly he was not needed this year. Hopefully Elliot and/or Halak can put a string of great seasons together for the St.Louis fans. |

I'm very much stuck in the middle on this....I don't want them to make the playoffs just so I can watch an additional 4 games. I'd rather see them miss it and fire Wilson.
But when watching, I have to cheer for them of course. |

Um. I dont think it was for him to play his final year of development. Bishop will be a UFA if he doesnt get 15games in the NHL. Thats a risk of losing him for nothing now. It would be almost foolish for any team who isnt gonna get him 15games to trade for him and let him go to UFA status. |
