That was my hope. I'm by no means trying to say we'd be winning the cup if not for injuries, but people act like this is the worst Sabres team we have ever iced. Granted they aren't the most likeable bunch, but they are actually slightly above average when they are healthy.

If we're selling to add pieces for next year or unload extraneous cap hits so we can attack free agency with a bang I'm all for it. If we're selling in hopes we will tank I'd rather try to ride it out and see where we end up. I don't expect this to happen at all, but what if we beat Boston and the Rangers this weekend. Does that make anyone more likely to hope for a playoff push?

they are on a pace to score around 200 goals...

the last time they scored that few was 190 in 2002/03...they got the 5th overall pick that year

the sabres have the assets and the opportunity to really strengthen the organization...if their gm had any balls
