i agree for the most part the media is ridiculous but theres a point where Bryz has say nothing .... i believe it does work both ways the media cant be all the blame for this.. im not saying bryz is wrong or anything but if he keeps feeding these guys its never gonna end - Slammed81
If he doesn't talk to them, they blow THAT out of proportion. He can't win.
But Timmo could call for the coach to be fired and they'd lap it up and say "What a leader." |

As far as I'm concerned the only thing he does well is be a sideline reporter for tennis. |

I'm not judging. But there clearly is a double standard. |

So when Kimo calls out the goaltending, is he wrong as well?
The media has made this a one man circus, (our goalie did seem to like it at one point early on), but is Kimo out of line for his comments? - puckhead17
In my opinion, I say yes. I'd prefer Kimmo keep that sort of talk in the dressing room and away from the media. |

The are not a hard working team. Adding a goalie wasn't going to change that. It is the reason they cant win the big one. - MBFlyerfan
I thought they had all the pieces this year. |

Funny how he's the consummate professional when covering the US Open for a major network.
He just plays the buffoon in Philly. It does fit the market.

Just wondering, so for him to not keep his comments behind closed doors means what?
He's on a different agenda of some kind?
No one wears the "C" right now, but I think it's obvious that he's our leader at this point & no one commands more respect than he does |

He is a freakin gameshow host. His interviews the last few days with some of the Phillies are just embarrassing.

unfortunately, this is the truth
the reason we get such awful reporting is because most people in this area lap it right up |

When do the Caps' management start to have cold sweats at night with Ovie counting $9.5 million against the cap for ten more years and hasn't scored 40 goals for the last two years? Almost makes Nash contract a bargain. |

I don't agree at all with some of the methods they employ, like Tim P & Sam asking Giroux & JVR about the goalie, they should save that for the coach, (just a cheap ass way to get a killer quote).
But to say every single media member in Philly, no matter whom, knows zilch about the game? |

I'm still not sure how him saying their goaltender was the difference is calling out his own goalie. To me he was just stating that their goalie was the difference. If they lose 1-0 and he says the same thing, is he calling out the goalie?
People read too much in to stuff. Put too much on things that are not there. It is getting worse every day. Bryz said what he said yesterday, and people claim he is all about himself and dissing his teamates. Like Bo said, he cant win. His own team mates have come to his defense lately, (G and JVR) and they get ripped for doing it.
If anything, this team is going to circle the wagons. The fans in this town are adversaries of this team just as the media is. I wouldn't be surprised if inside the room this entire team is telling the fans to go screw themselves. Hell, I think they should go screw themselves.
Flyers fans used to be different, they were more sophisticated, more able to see the subtleties of what is happening on the ice and in the sport. Nowadays they are no better than Iggles fans. Its the reason I only root for the Flyers and no other team in this city.

I'm sorry about that. But at least in my world, I don't go to games any more because I cant stand other Flyers fans. At least the ones in the building. All they yell is SHOOT! And "drop the gloves!" and all sorts of retarded things with no regard to what is happening on the ice. Most of them have never gotten out of 1975. Its like it was passed down to them from their elders.

I don't think the question to Kimmo was "why did we lose the game"?
It was why we can't beat the Rangers
wonder where the revenue will come from when the fans go screw themselves
