not to be picky... but the blueline is 64ft.. and it happens. Craig anderson let in a 100footer against boston two weeks ago... it was also going wide.
remember Toskala in long island? - Rockhead_37
That Toskala goal was like 500 feet or something...

He is not the answer to anything. Harding would get smoked like Dozzer's bacon playing for the Leafs - Big_Lightnin
Putting a traded def-system goalie into our run-gun system would be like going in front of a firing squad....a July 1st deal/signing might be wiser for training camp purposes...but we have to do something.....

Did anderson let in 2 other terrible goals in the same game?
1 bad goal can be foregiven, especially when you stop Kovalchuk on a breakaway to keep the team in it.
But 2 softies plus that OT, come on... Make a (frank)ing save.
There are some people mourning her loss....... i'm sure her children are sad
Just saying - faceto27
Yeah so sad they are selling the funeral coverage, I heard on the radio today that after the ceremony her 18 year old daughter went smoked some weed in memory of her mom.

OMG!! I'm so not reading all the pages to catch up lol
I'm not on the Nash train at all. Gimme Carter and a vet goalie. I don't care how. That'll make me happy. I'm with Noename on the vet goalie thing, everyone jumping off the bandwagon makes me laugh. We were playing good hockey up until Montreal IMHO and the problem that started there was lack of a few key saves. This team plays situationally. You can see it affects them when things aren't going their way. I don't know if that's good or bad, but hopefully it's a factor of youth.
I've said before and I'll say it again. I don't think Reimer sucks, he's just not getting the job done right now. Hopefully BB can adjust that. He may not be able to, tho. In that case, I pray Gus or Reims can find their way. My opinion still remians tho, that even when either guy played their best this year they have yet to steal a game for their team.

It seems like Reimer is letting in the corner shot goals that Gus would save, and Gus is letting in the between the wickets goals that Reimer would save.
Theres just no friggin consistency right now. It looks like Reimer's lost his confidence, just the way he's seemed shell-shocked when after he's let in goals in lately. That "honeymoon's over" look. Pulled against MON, 3 ga in Edmonton, pulled in Vancouver.

Just some terrible grammar on that one lol...I'm always at work and forget how early it is. That's my excuse
All the know-it-all analysts at the beginning of the year said we would be a 9-11 team in the East and that only Reimer could be the reason we had a better fate.
Maybe they were right...
Reimer needs to regain his confidence and its time to play some .500 hockey and make the playoffs!
