Reimer has the ability, he just needs to get himself mentally thought these challenges. Reimer's bad goals come when he lacks confidence and stops challenging shooters at the top of the crease. Its not often he lets pucks through him like Jonas does.

but i think everyone listens to the media too much. dregger and those guys maybe insiders and get the scoop on trades, but the rest is just thier opinion. too many leafs fans think those guys are god, because they can report a trade quickly.
no one was complaining about Gus a month ago, now they have him "in a taxi to the Ricoh"
he has still played better than reimer and wilson just needs to let him play to see if he can regain the focus he had....
but the media wants a trade so they have something to talk about next week. and if not, then at least they have something to harp on about the leafs, provided they fail to make the playoffs.
i prefer reimer, but Gus has been better, by a mile. in calgary, he was alone all night, last night, he was off, but still made some impressive saves. which reminds me of how he started december, before he got hot.
wilson needs to let him play, reimer had too many chances this year.

Owuya, Has had some real nice growth this year with the Marlies. He's big, His positioning is great, covers his angles well, and has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. I like the confidence this kid brings.

It seems like Reimer is letting in the corner shot goals that Gus would save, and Gus is letting in the between the wickets goals that Reimer would save.

Theres just no friggin consistency right now. It looks like Reimer's lost his confidence, just the way he's seemed shell-shocked when after he's let in goals in lately. That "honeymoon's over" look. Pulled against MON, 3 ga in Edmonton, pulled in Vancouver.
