very much so. Carter is a soft perimeter player who isn't much better than what we currently have, signed to a massive deal, and underperforming massively... Leafs fans don't want to sign Grabo to a 5.5M/y deal, but he brings much more to his game than Carter does... maybe not on the scoresheet(though outside of Carter's one ppg season, it's pretty close), but he has more passion and jam to his game in his pinky toe than Carter's ever shown in his career.

Mason had a great rookie season, but has struggled worse than what we have since... and again, especially this season.


For that, we're giving up two top-10 picks, and our own goalie, who yes, has struggled this season, but has a concussion to blame for that. Hint: see Miller's performance this season.

Give our youngsters time to develop. Appreciate the talent on the team. Don't squander it for some other team's mistake.

Leafs aren't against the cap - can easily add his salary at the moment.

Not that it matters cause he's 3rd on the depth chart to be called up right now - Scrivens and Owuja are both ahead of him.
